The Challenge
SUBZERO were approached to handle all of the storage, transportation and e-commerce distribution in the UK. As specialist temperature controlled storage and logistics was required, we were the perfect fit for the client’s needs.
The client needs their products maintained within a specific temperature range of 12-15 degrees Celsius at all times. As a result of this, all transport and storage needs to be expertly handled, with temperature controlled equipment used at all times to prevent the goods from spoiling.
As the client wanted a one stop shop for all of their UK operations, they chose to partner with SUBZERO to achieve this. A large operation, setting up in the UK required a great deal of logistical planning.
The Solution
Understanding the scale of this operation, SUBZERO purpose built a 6,500 square foot warehouse, fully equipped to manage all of the client’s needs in the UK. With a dedicated team on hand to manage, pick and distribute online orders, as well as fulfilling orders for their UK retail locations, the client is able to rest easy knowing that their operations are being professionally handled.
The Results
SUBZERO have nurtured a fantastic relationship with the client, and keep in constant communication to keep them in the loop on the day to day. All facilities are managed at 14 degrees Celsius, leaving us with a cool working environment!
Not only does SUBZERO deliver stock to UK stores, but we also pick, pack and distribute up to 700 e-commerce orders every day. As a result of our partnership, the client has been able to grow their UK operations, and show no signs of stopping as they expand to various locations around the world!
